Hello,I need I guess some advice..well some motivation...I have written many great poems that have been publish and have won many poetry contests, and I love to write oh do I love it. ok here is the thing though ... I am a direct decendant of Robert Frost. any of you that are into writing know who he is.. anyway...it seems I have inherited his love for poetry, and have been writing since I can even remember...I want to write a book of poetry but for some reason I just dont know where to start..its like a curtain has come down over me and I dont know where to begin...
and I am being honest about being Robert Frost's decendant...I plan to announce that when and if my book hits the shelves. but for now i just feel like im zoned out.

First off I wouldn't try to Robert Frost decendant thing at first, people may thing you are trying to use that to get publicity with it.
Second as for the actual book of poetry, I say gather your poems that all have a theme of some sort and create your book, that's what I did. That's all I can say to help.
P.s. Love the sn....the band?

Thankyou for your responce, yes my name is from the band. is one of my favorite bands. I understand what you mean about not Using His name but I also think it would be a great announcment being I would be the only decendant That has picked up in his footsteps.. but as for my poetry that can speak for itself..

The sn is what brought me into the discussion :) They are a great band. I've gotten into Pillar recently, their music is a little harder but good.
As far as the poetry, let it speak for itself, then with the next book or so them let the decendaness come out.

hey buddy,
it's quite nice to know about your relationship with the great writer....even i love to write poems...and same's the problem wid me that i'm screwed up as to where to start it all up from....anyways i guess u'd better write a preface...and and index than start ur first poem from a praise to God....than the next in Robert Frost's honor....
