... that if you type "Trojan Virus" for example, into the google search bar that you will get a trojan virus on your computer. My brother told me that, and I think he was just stirring me, but I wondered if anyone else had heard anything absurd like this?

I don't know and haven't heard of it. I am not going to try it incase it is true.
