My teachers always said to me that reading habits are good.And everyone should try to cultivate this habit.I dont read much and has always found it difficult to be among books. Do u read a lot?Has your reading habits helped you in any way?Do tell your experiences

I read everyday. The newspaper, discussions on mylot, my kids homework, the mail.

I read all the time. It's given me enjoyment and education. I like curling up with a good book. But, I don't know if it's necessary that someone has to read for pleasure like I do. I think people who can get pleasure out of reading get a lot, but people find enjoyment in other ways.

used to read,once,not now...my brother he's a voracious reader,he used to suggest books to me,once he started askin me to try science fictions,i quit,tht's not my cup of tea.well may b b'coz of readin habits during my childhood days,(Enid Blyton used to b my fvt,n i used to hate nancy drew n hardy boys.urgggg) that i din have much probs with the subject english in school,used to have a good score .these days its deteriorating,my vocab has come down like hell,jus 'coz i left reading.readin habit is good,helps a lot,'coz i've seen people struggling to write a very simple formal letter n lemme say,tht's jus b'coz of lack of readin habits...well well,i do think it helps.

Its true a reading habit is always good but i am also same as u. i cannot read much, but whenever i read i get a satisfaction and yes i get benifit from that bcoz i read only those books which can give u some knowledge.
