Four rowdy kids in the neighbourhood

Ok, where I live, there is these four rowdy kids going around every night tormenting houses in random. My house has been their target for 2 nights already. The 1st was during halloween night (where they smeared tuna from the tin can all over my house door and front yard) and tonight was the second time (they came knocking and when I asked them what is it that they want, they kicked on my door and ran away). I have seen them tormenting neighbour houses as well most of the time, they would just run away after the torment. What should I be doing? Should I report them to the police? (they are in they teens, I believe) We do not have neighbourhood watch here. Anyone can offer me some good advice, pls? Thank you.
