Televisions are a menace for the children at home. I heard that small children now-a-days take more time to speak as they watch more and try to talk less. What is ur experience?

well im not to sure i agree as my eldest watches TV and yet he still wants to go out and play and he still has a massive imagination. He can talk perfectly although most of the time he wont shut up :p. my middle child isnt that interested in TV yeh ok he will watch some programmes but he would rather be inside the tv lol pulling it apart so in my experiance then this is not true but i still have my daughter to go so we will have to see with her :p

I don't doubt that fact at all. TV just keeps getting more entertaining and more channels are always being added to the site. I think it is sad that kids spend more time with the tv than they do in other activities.
