I have never been to Branson but a friend of mine wanted to go, it was his dream, he was a country music artist here in Australia and that was the one place he wanted to go unfortunately he passed away before he ever got to go...must be a fab place for country music.

I lived in branson from from 10th grade to graduation and then i joined the military. And sadly enough the first time i went to dixie stampede was last christmas! And it was awesome, totally worth it! fun entertaining the kids loved it and the food was great. Now i know what the hype was all about growing up.

My mom lives 30 minutes from Branson, it was always her dream to live there in such a wholesome place. Although I have visited a number of times, I have not made it to any live shows, except when I was much younger (Mickey Gilley). My mom has been to the Dixie Stampede and she had the time of her life. I cannot wait to see it for myself. I hear it's quite the experience!
This last time I visited (New Years), my fiance and I got to see the new Titanic Museum. A MUST SEE. When you first arrive, you get a card with a bio of a passenger and you search the "ship" for info on that person (you're suppose to pretend it's you, yikes). It's all pretty cool, and massive. It's designed beautifully as well. Reminiscent of the real thing.

I just got home from Branson, yesterday. We really enjoyed ourselves. We saw the Spirit of the Dance show and wouldn't really recommend it. We were expecting a lot better than we got. We felt like we saw a really bad cheerleading performance. Not professional dancers.
That was the only show we saw. We hope to go back soon and see some more.

We're going down to Branson for our anniversary and already booked Dixie Stampede. I just saw a commercial on TV and it does look pretty entertaining. Can't wait to go see it. We only live about 4 hours away so, we're driving down from Kansas City.
