i will go for shakira because she just rocks in the hips don't lie song, it has been most widely downloaded song of the year 2006. so i vote for Shakira singer of the year 2006

Defenetly Mihai Traistariu....He was participate to the EuroVision Contest and he placed 3rd position.He have a great voice and he's from my country(Romania)
