Have you taught your children the true meaning

Have you sat your children/grandchildren down this year and described to them the true meaning of Christmas? I wonder how many parents actually do this or just let them believe its all about Santa. I'm not trying nor wanting to start a war / discussion about if Jesus is real nor God nor anything like that = I'm simply wondering if people as of today have simply sat the kids down and asked them what Christmas is all about. Its easy to be lost in Santa as a child.

i have certainly taught my children the true meaning of christmas. From their earliest moments i have taught them that we cellebrate the winter solstice between the 21st and the 25th of december as the time that the godess awakes and promises us the rebirth of spring and summer to come. It is such a pitty that this most sacred time of the year has been high jacked by christians who lie and pretend the son of god was hunman and born at just the same time, but no one really believes them
