MyLot Referral Question.

I really like the idea of posting and making money. To be quite honest. I have been here for three days and I am having fun!
There is a little hamster in my head spinning really fast in my head at the moment at the prospect of this referral program. 25% is just a really nice incentive. I can see how if you get some enthusiastic posters signed up under us how it could increase our earnings quite quickly.
So I have a little marketing survery....
What brought you to myLot.
For me it was a site called Link Referral. (I am not adding my affiliate url for link referral because I believe that would be against the guidelines)

I found myLot through Yahoo answers. It is against the rules to post url's there too, but everyone does it. All they do is delete your post if someone complains about it. I post on yahoo answers quite a bit about my home business http://jsnapp.prowealthresults.com I am earning a couple hundred per month now.

What brought me to mylot was one of the girls in the groups I talk to on myspace. So I guess myspace did. I do love the referral program though! I just wish my referrals would be more active. I had a REALLY active one (more than me) and then she just stopped one day.

I had the same thing happen, I had a girl under me that joined under me right after I did and I made more money from her than myself! Then she quit one day too and now she doesn't post very often at all. I use Craigslist a lot. The users can complain and get it flagged and removed, but I just post again. Clever marketing is the key. :)

I haven't been to myspace in ages. Maybe I will try. I got 4 referrals since yesterday. I posted to about 25 marketing groups. I also added to to my blog of free things to make money from. http://earn-for-free.blogspot.com

I have been here for 1 month and a half and I got 13 $. I wish I could have my real own pc so I can use it whenever I want. But my family memeber spent more time on games and friendster for they are still young. For me it is only mylot that help the electric bill and internet bill.

I think I am going to try to work out a system where I start five topics, post to ten and upload three pictures a day, add 5 friend and try to refer a couple people everyday.

I first received info about My Lot via some spam. I didn't really pay attention and then all of a sudden I saw referral links everywhere for it. Not sure who I signed up under but just ended up on the site, thought it was pretty cool and started to post.

I was really wondering about this referral question, because it is true, if you have someone that is very active under you, than that could give you a great deal of money, which I think is great. Because if the 25% thing applys, and you can get 4 people referred that are just as active as you, then that means that you can double your earnings. Mind you, I don't think most people would try and do this as much as a few really excited posters would, but still, little amounts do add up.
I wish us all lots and lots of referrals! (I'm just not sure how to get them lol...)

lol... I figured I'd have to do lots of the work on my own, but I have to go out and try to see if I can get referrals. Heck, I might luck out :P I hope so!

I have always linked forums, I have met some really nice people on them, when one of them asked me to join up on his referral I did just to help him out but I like it it in here, I like how you can build up your interests section and the payment part is icing on the cake, but I really think you must enjoy it on here above all...

It is fun isn't it. I think we must keep the fun aspect in perspective as if we think we are going to rich here we are being delusional! I like to go to message boards to post and read anyways. Absolutely everything is covered here all in one place. The fact I can make a couple bucks a day to boot is just icing on the cake!

I've never tried orkut before but I have heard it mentioned quite a bit here so I think I will check it out. Thanks for posting. I am learning of a lot places to market.

I think if you know friends that hang out on-line and socialize it is easy, but a lot of people aren't comfortable with it. It does take a little practice I guess. It help if you are a good typer to. : )

well i got to know mylot thru a community at orkut... many ppl had actually sent me links and i never checked this out... by some freak coincidence i felt bored and decided to check it out... and voila!!! i am hooked

I was referred to MyLot through a work at home forum. I agree with you on the referral thing. I have one person that I referred (I intend to refer more)and this one person must be one of those dedicated posters, because most of my earnings are from them alone. It's really a nice idea! I really do need to get a few more people under my belt.

I found it on a bulletin board somewhere and I signed up immediately. I really enjoy it, even though I haven't posted as well this month as before, but that is ok too. I have tried posting my url places to get referrals, so far I have two, but I've only made .06 from them. Hopefully that will grow soon.

Well i happened to be looking at the orkut messages taht my friends had sent me and in one of them i saw this and found it interesting and i thought of trying it.
