If I were you, I would buy new cribs and new car seats for your children. I got a new crib for my son for a little over $100.00 dollars. We bought a used one and ended up returning it, because it wasn't in good condition. When buying a used crib or car seat you usually don't know the history of the item(like if it has been in a wreck or if there is any loose screws or broken wood). As far as the other stuff you should be able to get it on Ebay or look for a local consignment shop in your area. Don't forget to start stocking up on diapers. Get a whole lot of different brands to find out which ones will work best.

Hi! Do you have a Once Upon a Child store near you? That's an awesome place to get gently used babies' and kids' toys, cribs, clothes, strollers, etc. I buy there whenever I can and their prices are excellent! :-)

Babies R Us is the best shop to buy any item related for a baby.there are many sites which lists the used items and hence if you dont have any hesitation in using that you can contact them and buy it in a cheaper rate.

Here in the Philippines you'll find really affordable baby's thing at Divisoria. Lots of people go there to shop. Some shops for personal use and some for them to sell too.Their products are competitive too.

Do you have a Goodwill store where you live or a Salvation Army? There are also consignment shops and used shops. Check with your church and see if they have any ideas. Maybe someone in the church has things to donate. If you don't go to church call them anyway. The ministerial alliance usually will tell you about someone that might have something or help you out. Some cleaning and paint will help and it is cheap. Things may not be top of the line but they will work.

For carseats if you have a county health nurse where you are they loan you stuff like that, I think.

Have you tried Craigslist.org and freecycle.org? You find your city, and freecycle is all free stuff given away by other members, and craigslist you can buy stuff dirt cheap but they also give stuff away for free.
