Personally I think Cinderella Man is the best sports movie ever. / myLot

I cant even explain how much I loved this movie. For this movie to not be nominated for anything was completely ridicoulus and a disgrace. This was definetely one of the best movies Ive ever seen. So many movies that were crap were nominated and this got no credit. I was so into this mocvie that I felt I was there during the fights. Just brilliantly acted, directed and produced. I cant wait to one day watch this on HD. Everyone whos seen this agrees and I think the critics acted like this cause they dont like ron howard and russel crowe.

I didn't see Cinderella Man so I can't say. My favorite TV movie is "Brian's Song"....the story of friendship and love between two Chicago Bears running backs Brian Piccolo and Gale Sayers who vied for a place in the starting line-up. Brian got cancer and Gale would work with him with the idea that he could return to football. It was a real tearjerker. Gale had compassion and love for his friend and showed it in his dedication to be with Brian when time allowed. (PS: Brian's big brother Joe was a colleague of mine at the US Embassy in Mexico City. I didn't know that Brian existed at that time and it was only when I saw the movie did I realize that they were brothers.)

I can think of a couple off of the top of my head that I enjoyed more... Glory Road, Remember the Titans, The Sandlot, etc.

LOL! glory road and the sandlot? I hope your joking. Thats just disrespectful to Cinderella Man. Those movies arewnt even in the same league as Cinderella Man.
