Why is it that I find myself gaining weight, slowly, as winter comes? Is it my body trying to tell me I need insulation? Any thoughts on this?

I gues, but not all the time. I like to go sledding and all the other snow opportunities.

Your bodies metabolism slows down during the winter months. We tend to slow down and become less active, thus burning off less calories. Also your body is getting ready for the winter months by adding fat to keep warm.

I wish it wasn't like that. I sometimes feel like a polar bear. I like winter but not what it does to my body. Heeheeehee, thanks for a great response.
