Why did Robin Hood only steal from the rich ?

Cause the poor had nothing to steal? That would seem to be the reason he would only steal from the rich.

Because they were the ones with the money. It's kind of hard to steal money to give to the poor from... other poor people. The rich had it to spare. Who else would he steal from?
