okay, i literally just posted a discussion about pregnancy and tattoo's and it made me think about pregnancy and belly button piercing's because I have one. Today I saw on bodycandy.com some "pregnancy belly rings" I was always under the impression that when you're pregnant you just take it out. My sister is 7months and she took hers out. Anybody out there ever heard of these things or beter yet has anybody had one? Is it comfortable and does it have any effect on the baby?

They are just plastic flexible bars (about double the length as well). I've heard they are fine - no pulling on the skin and because they are just plastic there will be no effect on the baby...

i always heard you had to take it out so your piercing doesnt stretch but now that i think about it i think it sounds insane since no matter what i would think it would stretch but i havent heard of that at all (pregnancy ring)

I removed mine when I was pregnant, it just looked stupid because when I got so big I didn;t really even have a belly button.
