So where does your loyalty lie, Mac or PC?
I have used a PC all my life and just recently got a macbook, which I absolutely love. It is new to me so I am not sure if I like it better than a pc or not. What are your thoughts? what is your favorite thing about mac or pc?

I feel the same way: I cannot ever see myself going back to the PC.. But mine is _on a daily basis_.. I need to have variety, heheh. Plus, some of the software I work on work only on Windows. :)

i have used a PC all my life but when my sister got herself a second hand powebook g3 series i fell in love with it. i mean the user interface is cute and easy on the eyes. also its very easy to learn all the applications installed. the only downside is that i got used to having two buttons for the mouse so i was kind of groping around when it came for the powerbook mouse. my sister mentioned that the only downside in getting a mac is you cannot have that much software on the system because a lot of software makers don't make them for mac. also she mentioned that the best way to get the best of both worlds for a mac would be to buy it used so that all of the software would be installed already.

I feel like mac is too one sided. Its not as versitile to me as a pc is. I used to used mac computers for school and I hated it. The way the desktop looked to me just looked so low budget. So overall I say PC all the way

I am starting to feel that way a little myself. I keep forgetting that I have a mac so I go to download programs or something and they are not mac compatible. It does get very frusterating sometimes, but I still love my mac.

I am a PC guy. But Macs are fine with me. From my personal experience with the Macbook, I would say that the OS is very intuitive. The OS X I think is very similar to the Vista. I love the Dock, I'll just place my frequently used programs in there and I'm good to go. The very one thing that I don't like with the macbook is that it heats up so fast, even though when I'm just surfing, the heat is very unbearable. One solution to the thermal problem is to buy a cooling pad.
The very cool thing about macs is that they have a bootcamp. Its a software that lets you install Windows operating system on your Intel based Macs. So having a mac means having two operating systems in one machine. Its very useful, though I still prefer using XP rather than the OS X.

I am in the same boat as you! I just got my first MacBook today. It is running great. Don't know if I love it more than my PC, but I think I do... hehe. How do you like yours?
