I've only been a member of mylot for three days, and so far I'm pretty happy with it! I'm posting more and more each day, so hopefully I'll start seeing the $$$ go up and up! Hoewever, the only thing I'm disappointed in is all the stupid, pointless discussions started. It's starting to get old having to sift through all of them just to find a decent discussion! But other than that, I'm liking it so far!

It feels like the money really adds up--then I realized it's because I've bee on Mylot for 5 hours! I also find myself scrolling through screen after screen of topics that I'm interested in responding to. Most are just people posting teh first thing that comes into their head or snippets of news or facts they've copied out of a news site or Wikipedia.
I try to search though the pages of unanswered topics but often get the blank white screen.

You just reposted what you wrote exactly an hour earlier. Isn't this cheating?

I'm still very happy with it. But my life is spent in front of the computer on forums anyway. I may as well be making money off of it - and I am making money off of it. I've hit close to 24$ in just six days. But like I said, I'm always online anyway.

I know how you feel, I started last night and I havent made a full dollar yet. I put time and effort into my responses and I dont get the reward I deserve for it. I think maybe those that put up stupid questions, are taking away from profit that those of us wo have dedicated time to give mind stimulating readig material. Just hang in there and hopefull it will pay off. No negative thoughts...lol

Yes, to a degree, but I still enjoy it and still look forward to a little extra money each month. It does get very frustrating when you post good topics and no one responds to them. I have a ton that I really thought could provide some good dynamic debates or opinions. With Mylot is just the luck of the draw. What I wish-If we started a topic that got no responses, after 60 days Mylot would delete them. The forums that have been started get pushed further and further back and we as writer's cannot do anything to get them in the mix again. Then when Mylot fully deleted it, we could reissue the topic, maybe giving it a better chance now than then. Well, I hope you stick with it. Pace yourself....and try to enjoy it again.

Well, I don't ever MAKE myself sit in front of a computer. I have to MAKE myself do other things, rather!
I was on the point of leaving MyLot a week or so ago because of the rubbish discussions that seemed to be all that was there. I am glad to say that they have recently changed things and have deleted a lot of them (and that has reflected in my earnings and probably yours: my November earnings have been substantially adjusted recently, I see).
I also recently joined another discussion board (Javahive) that looks good, so I have been spreading my time a bit. I think I shall stay with MyLot for quite a bit, though. It's a good place to make friends and contacts.

I'm still enjoying the conversation in mylot. I have only missed one day responding to discussions since I started about 3 weeks ago. My money is slowly going up but I'm not soley here for that. I'm on the computer most days anyway, so why not make a few cents while I'm here?

try looking for threads that have posts of proofs of payment, and earning strategies in mylot. they help, both for info and morale. hehe.

that or visit this site. it's a great combo for mylot. just use the browser and go back to mylot. they pay an initial $0.45 per hour of browsing.

I am new and am so far enjoying the site but seeings as how they want detailed responses and such I will probably loose intrest really quick not that I am all about yes/no answers but I spend most of my day with a 3 month old in my arms/on my lap and only have one hand to type with which makes typing responses that are long kinda difficult and timley ther are a few times during the day that i get both hands but it isn't often. I will probably keep reading the site but not respond much i guess which sucks although I do enjoy reading some of the questions/discussions seems like there are alot of very intelligent people around =o)

It gets better, I am almost up to $5 after being on here a week, so just give it awhile, it is definitely NOT a money making business idea that is for sure

I must say i am really losing interest here, And it is mainly because the quality in discussions has dropped and it is really hard to find a good discussion to reply to, and when i make my own discussion i do struggle to get replies!
I earn good money here so that isnt the problem!

I think I'm kind of more excited about anything when I first start.
I've been posting now only to topics that truly interest me, because for the money, it isn't worth it to sit and waste hours online here doing something you don't enjoy.
I only post questions now that I actually hope to hear answers about, because most of the time, I don't get many responses either.
