Do you take any supplements?
I have been feeling really run down and tired lately. Got a cold sore earlier in the week and now feel a cold coming on.
It's so confusing knowing which vitamins to take, theres so many!
Would it be best to just take a multi-vitamin supplement?
Thanks for any help :)

I do not take vitamin supplements at all because we eat a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables. If I am feeling a bit run down, then I will have extra fruit, bananas in particular as they seem to give me the pick-me-up that I need. Good luck juicemilk and I hope that the cold sore disappears soon and you are feeling a little better. :)

Yes, Without supplements life would not be as easy as it is right now! I take proteins, creatines, fat burners and vitamins too. I'd say yes go for the multi-vitamin cause anything your body doesnt need will throw out anyways, so win-win situation. I'd reccommend any well known multi-vitamin brand for women that provides 100% of the daily value (DV) of C,D,E and most of the B-complex vitamins, as well as 100% DV of zinc, copper and chromium. Cheers ;)

I have always taken Vitamin E...I read many years ago that Vit.E was just so good for you especially the oil capsuals, it was once called a wonder. I have even used it for face blemishers, it clears things up very quickly.

We have our own fruit and vegetables, so it is easy for me to say that you should eat them. But it is true that they are good for you, and the more the better but even 1 piece of fruit every day is better than nothing. Fruit is better than fruit juice, as the juice does not have any of the fibre in it being squashed/juiced out of it.
If I have a cold or flu, then I will take vitamin C tablets. My partner takes some women's type things but said the other day that they are getting very expensive, so will stop now. We will rely on the things that we grow, like mint and parsley for two of the herbs. Plus we will both start taking vitamin C this week, seeing as how it is starting to get a bit cold and that often brings on the sniffles and sneezes.
You will actually find that it is cheaper to buy fruit and vegetables than it is to buy vitamins, and you can just eat them as part of your daily meals.

You have to be very careful taking supplements. My neorologist told me to not take andy supplements unless I approved them by her. When you have surgery, you also have to tell them what vitamins and supplements you are taking. Some supplements have to be stopped a week or so before surgery. This was something that I did not know. I take a One a day vitamin for women, 500 mg calcium, vitamin E and Vitamin C. These were approved by my Neorologist for me. You probably should talk to your Dr to see what is right for you. I know alot of people swear by supplements but I have too many health problems to risk my life to taking somehting that may harm me. Good luck.

I have always taken Vitamnin E, I think that is an overall inner fixerupper, I think it sort of oils your insides so they work better.
