Nursing is it a trend or a profession worth keeping?

nursing, for me, is a service profession, and a very noble one at that, that's why i find it rather disappointing for people to take up nursing just as a ticket to greener pastures. we have plenty of nurses here with such attitudes and i don't think their patients deserve the kind of treatment they get from these people. i have personal experiences from them, that is why i am really hoping that those who take up nursing take it up for the right reasons. because florence nightingale worked hard to lift the integrity of the nursing profession, and it's unfair for the others to abuse it like that.
