Well well i wud like to know which camera is best for doing amatuar photography prices around Rs.3000 to 5000 (around 100 $)

you can trust sony but you have to buy the digital camera have the service centre in your home town or near by, i got a digital camera they told me that they will take minimum 60-days for service. so please check service facility first.
