Full marks for quick posting! I hadn't even completed the tags! However, does drinking chocolate count as a snack? I suppose it does (as much as soup, anyway). It's nourishing and warming, certainly!

Well usually when I come back from a winter walk, I just have a nice cup of tea. But if I'm feeling a bit peckish I'd probably have toast.

My favorite snack is a tall glass of ice water and a little piece of apple cake.

I have the ice water because it never gets cold here in Nicaragua.

This time of year, its hot chocolate. In the summer its lemonade and cookies (biscuits). I should have known you are British. My mother always said I had an english sense of humor! My ancestors were mostly English.

S'mores - S'mores
We like to warm up with hot chocolate and sticky buns. But the sticky buns are not always easy to make. I would make them ahead of time. So there have been times that we start a fire and warm up while eating S'mores and drinking milk. Milk is the best with S'mores!!!!

I usually have to pass the fish and chip shop on my way back so I usually have a bag of chips. Not very healthy but I love them.

I love crumpets but not with cheese and they have to be followed by a bar of chocolate.

I love hot chocolate when I'm feeling chilly, like after a walk. When my children used to be out playing or shoveling or just gone somewhere on a cold day, I'd always fix them hot chocolate that was ready when they returned. It always made me feel good to help them warm up, and I'm sure it was comforting to them, too.
