I think that is a little rude and insulting to say something like that. The kilt is just a traditional clothing for the scottish people. That doesn't mean they are cross dressers. Just b/c Americans think a skirt is only meant for women doesn't mean the scotish can't wear their kilts. I don't see how that makes them a cross dresser. Every culture has their own traditions and way of dressing. Just b/c its not something you would wear doesn't make it wrong. We really should not insult other people cultures.

By saying they are using it as an excuse to cross dress is just like saying it is wrong. I kilt is not a skirt its two totally different things. Are you saying that a kilt should only be wore in Scotland that scottish men should not wear them any where else. It doesn't matter where they live they are still scottish. I still say it is insulting to call a kilt a skirt and to act like a man is less of a man for wearing one.

no no no i did not say it was wrong i think its great that all these very masculine scottish guys wear what is fundementally a skirt, out of its cultural context it is cross dressing
