Perhaps someone has died or moved far away and you can no longer talk to them as you did years ago, does it make you sad or happy that you were allowed the time to spend with them

This season makes me sad when I see the chocolate covered cherries with the clear liquid incase in the chocolate with the cherry.
There is a difference of chocolate covered cherries....and only my father taught me the difference.
I miss him dearly. A few years ago I had went out with my partner and it just hit me. they had just set the display of chocolate covered cherries and I started crying in the store. My partner realized that I was not walking anymore and turned and immediately knew why I was upset. He always tells me to buy a box to kinda fill that tradition I had with my father. But since my father passed, I have not been able to buy one box.

I understand you completely, my mother passed away a year and a half ago and I am having such a hard time dealing with her passing, especially this year. There are so many traditions that I am unable to do cause it reminds me of her, hopefully in years to come I will be able to live out those traditions again and remember the wonderful times I shared with her. Thank you for contribuiting, hopefully soon you can learn to buy chocolate covered cherries again. Thank you for contributing.

Yes. My youngest son lives very far away and we can never be together over the holidays. It always makes me feel very sad while I'm trying to do my best to enjoy everything about the holidays. It's very hard on me emotionally.
