truth or lie?

why dont we speak of truth? why do we lie? even though we know that telling a lie is bad, but we still keep on doing and telling lies..

well, every person lies more than once in his life...and the habit of speaking truth always should come from childhood onwards, and the seeding should be done by the parents...of course we can't blame anyone if we resolve to speak truth always from now on...i can't manage speaking truth all the time, i believe, its mainly a necessity that i lie...and this is how i m...but to ones i hold dear, my family, and my girl, i ll never lie to them...
