I let them lay up on the bed for a little bit, but not sleep there for the night.
Last night I was trying to get comfortable and couldn't straighten out my legs.
Guess who was curled up at the foot of our bed?
Yep! Gracie, our golden retriever.
It was 1:20am we all must've dozed off with her there...sneaky little thing LOL

We don't ever let our dog, Lucy, sleep with us. I've read that this can cause them to question their position in the "pack" and start to behave like the leader. I'll let her up on the bed with us when we're watching TV or just hanging out, but never to sleep through the night. We have a crate for her that she used to sleep in every night, but lately she's just been sleeping on the floor!

Hmmmm had to think about it for a minute, I've come to the conclusion that Hershey (OUr 18 month Old Chocolate Lab) allows US to sleep with him, he thinks this whole house is his and the 5 acres that he runs in.... but usually not further than 5 ft away from one of us in case we are going to get in the car or have Food!! LOL. Spoiled? Not so much ! yeah right !!!

2 of our dogs usually sleep with us, they are little and dont take up too much room. =) If they aren't with us in bed they are with the kids.

I will let our black lab sleep with me alone, but not when my hubby and I are both in bed, she takes up too much room. she will jump up to"play" for a few minutes..then when I turn the light off...she knows to go to he bed on the floor, then when the alarm goes off....she is back up to greet us with kisses and tail flapping.

Chewie sleeps with my daughter at the feet part of her bed. Then there is the fat cat that sleeps with her on her pillow.......

We have a dashound and he use to sleep with us and he would lay at our feet, didn't bother me, he kept my toes warm :) But then we got him his own bed and got him sleeping in it..but now..he grabs a blanket out of his bed and curls up in the blaket in a corner and sleeps. *lol* But he still tries to get in the bed with us sometimes.

No not the dog I have now. I have let some in the past sleep with me. But my minature dahcshund goes in her own bed at night. It is real bad on their backs to jump from high places and she would jump down during the night if I did that. She already cost me a lot at the vets with blown disk in her back so I will keep her off the bed.

Yea, My dog has slept with me since I bought her. She has her own little spots. She thinks she has to be on a pillow at all times!
