Suddenly I am so obsessed with money making, that too easy money online, that I feel I have lost all my creativity to write articles. I am so obsessed that every time I open the laptop to write my mind goes to the points that I have scored and drives me to the net. Then I am lost in the web answering every other persons question keeping a whole lot of unanswered questions in my mind. Hoping to get out of this mania I thought I’ll write something for the community I am in. rather than look for job openings for freelancers or writers. Let anyone who see my work call me , I am not going to be driven by unknown forces anymore.

Correction: The word 'supportive' should read as 'self-supportive'. What I mean to say is charity/free service can be done occasionally, or quite frequently but not always and daily.

it's just a passing phase dear, this situations come and go in life. but don't let it outpower your creativity. money is certainly a driving force to work hard, but when we do quality work and get paid for it we are more happy than getting paid off without any satisfying work.
the best thing is, u r so great to analyse ur own problems and that too so critically that your this unsatisfying soul wud get you to places. i am sure u gonna stand out in life.

I know what you mean...I am a writer too. I have been distracted with money lately too...especially with the holidays coming....but I have to get back to my writing and finish some things...good luck with your writing..and I hope you get back to it...What are you working on...and do you have a writing job?

i do write, mostly freelance for magazines and i am su how about uccessful i try to get atleast one published in a monthly magazine either national or regional.

I, too, am a writer and my writing is definitely being neglected. This morning I had to sit myself down in front of the computer and not even go online. Just write the darn short story. I did it! I didn't get online until 1:30pm as I had to go out for a couple of hours. Starting to answer emails that late in the day was weird. Fortunately I didn't have a lot to catch up on. Tonight, or tomorrow, I will make the corrections on my short story. Hopefully then it will be ready to submit to the Toronto Star Short Story Contest whose deadline is December 30th.

This is a wise decision on your part,the web is for people who have plenty of spare time or do things during their spare time . If it is becomming an obsession and shift in priorities then u have taken a right decision.

It's very easy to becme obsessed with all sorts of things including money. Money is a little different because it is a necessity of life and we need a certain amount to live. It's really all about balance, we need to balance all of the things in our life without one diminating all else.

When I first got the computer and the net connection, my main aim was to earn some money online. every dayI used to spend my time looking for various options, but now I am losing all hopes. I used answer surveys, but now they are not sending any surveys and I have not earned a penny. I feel very frustrated and disappointed. Now, it is myot, I hope at least this with pay me.

Yes, it's strange, but when we worry about money, all creativity seems to dissapear. Try and relax and post your discussions. Also, I know a lot easier said than done, but try not to lose focus. Decide to answer responses, if you choose to do so, answer posts from discussions, post your own discussions. Hope this helps. Here's to creativity!!!

Sometimes it happens that your mind gets preoccupied with problem that you tend to do all which can help you solve that problem....And money is something which actually can make you mad....try n concentrate on other more inportant things in your life and you will get back to your normal life

I am obsessed with money making too as it is a part time revenue earner for me. I am soo addicted to myLot but I control myself and use it judicially. I do not compromise on anything for using myLot. I know this is just a small income earning opportunity and definitely its temporary for me.

Im obsessed with money now even after making a decent income from my businesses online.
Im just 16 and i still go crazy behind money.
Maybe i should consult a psychologist..
