The scenario is like this : Last pair is batting. Both the batsmen are on 94. The batting team requires only 7 runs to win and only three balls are remaining. My question : In what possible case will both the batsmen be able to complete their respective centuries and the batting team wins the match as well? Answer it and get the best response.

The first palyer hit the ball and take two runs and starts for the third but then he gets an overthrow four runs and completes his century. Now the strike is for the second player and he can hit a sixer in the second ball and complete his century and team can win.ie;the last ball is not used.If it must be used, dont take any runs in the second ball.

rahul dravid - rahul dravid
i think you are partially right because when ball is threw to boundary the same batsman gets the strike, so there is no chance that other player gets his century... here is the solution, on the first ball, player1 hits a boundary,so he goes to 98 and keeps strike.. next ball player1 hits for 3 runs but umpire tells one short.. so 2 runs counted and also player1 become nonstriker as they have taken 3 runs... now in the last ball player2 hits for 6 and team wins.. so both players make their respective centuries....
