Why did you join mylot? / myLot

I'd like to know for what reason you decided to join the mylot community? I joined today because I'd like to meet new people from all over the world and I also hope that I am going to improve my english this way. (feel free to correct my mistakes - i would actually be happy about that!) The little extra money is nice as well of course;) So, why did you decide to join?

I joined because i enjoyed the postings on this website; and whilst reading it and enjoying them too, i was earning money. So why not?

My cousin invited me to join this site and I reluctantly said yes. I didn't think I would have the time to spend here. But, it turned out to be a long term thing with me as I have been here quite a long time. At first, it was mostly fun as I was still on dial-up and it was really slow. Now, I do it for the money, too. I also like finding out what other people are like all over the world, too.
