I just got mine 2 weeks ago, but the one I had was 3 years old. We gave that one to my stepson.

yes, he had been wanting a computer for a long time and he's kind of ruff on things so we decided it would be best for him to have the older one ( it was still working perfectly)

My computer is about 5 years old, but I've upgraded it very often so only my CD-writer is 5 years old. My processor, hard disk, video card, motherboard don't even have 4 years since I've bought them.

We had this one custom built for about $8000 3 years ago. We just had it "updated" a few days ago. As a matter of fact I just got it back yesterday. I was informed by our computer tech that technology evolves so rapidly that certain components can be considered "old" as fast as every two weeks.
