Has anyone ever won money/prizes on iwon.com?

I have a friend who's brother won the $10,000 daily prize a few years ago, and then I remember hearing about a guy who won the million dollar monthly prize and he had just broken up with his girlfriend so he called into the Howard Stern show. They put him on the air and then they called the guys ex-girlfriend and told her the news. You could hear in her voice that she was very jealous and upset. I've been visiting iwon.com since 1999 and I have not won a thing. Is there anyone out there who has won something from there?

I'm not a member, but as a zip code is required then don't think I will be eligible, I have won several times on different survey panels which give prizes, most I've won though is $500 (once) and twice $50, also £100, all from different survey companies, so there is a chance that you will win something sometime.

Yes, I think you're right. It takes time and patience but eventually you're bound to win a prize. Thanks for your response.

I get those emails from iwon (i do have an email with them) but I have not gotten anything from them. I fill out all the forms and stuff that they ask me to fill out, but I still havent recieved anything. I might never win but I still fill it out. It doesnt take much time but I might get something out of it one day. Congrats to those that you know who have won. Many hopes to you that you might one day win.

I, too, have been a member since 1999 & I have not won anything. I remember when it first started off as 10,000 daily each of the 7 days of the week, a million monthly, & 10 million annually. Nowadays, it's 10,000 for weekdays, & only 1000 for weekends. Not a daily winnder each for Saturday & Sunday, it's 1,000 for the entire two-day drawing. They also have nifty items that you can win on a monthly basis that got introduced later on, & they removed the monthly million dollar jackpot, as well as raise the annual winnings from 10 million to 25 million. They also have that pick-7 in which you need to match all 7 in order to win anything nowadays. Basically, the only thing I use iwon for is for the pick-7 & email. increasing the mailbox quote was the only good thing they seemed to have done.

I have not been there for a while nowadays. I might just try the music trivia one of these days, but I'm more familiar with the older stuff.

You're absolutely right, the prizes used to be a lot better. I have not visited iwon.com for at least a year now. I really enjoyed playing the daily music trivia, because I'm pretty good at that. After awile, the same questions kept coming up and I got bored with it.

I'd never heard of that. So I went, and it wouldn't even allow me on the site without enabling my cookies. And I won't do that. ;/ It shouldn't be required to identify me or my computer just to visit a site. But another place I've been playing and YES I've won. Because you win cash AND points. So when you're not winning cash, you win points towards gift cards to stores of your choice. Check it out! It's fun! http://www.netwinner.com/?signupCode=Angelic

I have not heard of netwinner. I'll have to take a look at it. Yes, I know what you mean about iwon and their cookies. I sometimes get irked about that as well. My anti-adware program always catches iwon files when it runs a scan and sometimes that worries me.

I joined netwinner, the first few days of playing I got big points then all of a sudden nothing, it will take you to the big bucks then just end the game. I think it a scam too, everything it hits on is 10 points, never lands on the money, but then I read somewhere that each of these sites has so many people on them it would be like winning the lottery to win on them, your chances one in a zillion and my luck not that good

Wow, I'm surprised you have never heard of it. Do you recall the commercials from years ago where the tag line was, "Iwon.com. Why wouldn't you?" I signed up pretty close to when they started and there used to be a $1 million monthly prize, but they have done away with that. Check it out when you get a chance. I think you'll enjoy it.

It's a really neat site, I like it a lot. They have lots of useful information, good news reporting and not too many pop-ups and floaters.

Hello my dear, This com. is bogus. Nobody has got money from this com. They are cheating people and still they are going foolish. I think you will stop atleast now and stop getting fooled further.

I personally know someone who has won $10,000 from iwon.com, so I don't think they are a bogus site. They have been around since the late 90's and I've been visiting their site since 99 or so. I haven't won anything (yet) but I know they are legit.

I'm the same way as luko4me. I've been visiting for years and haven't won a thing. But, I'm already addicted to the site. It has great features and better TV coverage than Yahoo.com.

I haven't noticed that. I don't look at the winners page anymore. I mostly go there to read the news and look at TV listing nowadays.

You've been on for years too, huh? Well, one day we're bound to win something! Had you noticed that they opened it up to folks living in Canada? I don't know how long ago it happened but I began seeing winners on there from Edmonton and Ontario.

I've never heard of Iwon.com. I've only heard of Iwin.com which is a game site for you to download free online games. Is it only open to US citizens?

I used to play but really don't have time for it anymore. I know my mom played, I am not sure if she still does or not. I do not know anyone who has won personally though.

I still play it daily because it doesn't take that long to get to the daily limit of 100 points. Also, I like to check the news stories there as well as taking the daily survey (it's only one question) and playing the Pick 7 game. You should look at how it looks these days. They have made a lot of changes since the early days.

I did a few years ago, but I really didnt play that much on there so I thought my efforts were nicely rewarded. It wasnt money that I won but in a sense, I won a $50 Gift Certificate to a store of my choice, I had a list to choose from but they were great stores. Bath & Body Works is who I chose my certificate from. The day I went to the store they had several specials going, I got more than $150 worth of product for my gift card and $10 dollars out of my pocket. I think I did pretty good. I tried to go back to uproar.com where I won it, but they are no longer there. This was maybe a couple of months ago.

I'm not following what you were trying to explain. Did you with the gift card from iwon or uproar?

I'm not sure if anybody cares anymore, as the question was posted 2 years ago, but I just stumbled upon it. I am a member of iwon.com for about a year now, however I never really had time to play there. Just recently I was lucky playing the prize machine and won $5 giftcard. It's peanuts compared to someone's $ 10.000 cash, but I'm hoping for better luck next time.

You just never know. At least you're playing. That means you at least have a chance of winning. Can't win if you don't enter.

I have been visiting iwon.com almost everyday for many years. I have never won anything. I do enjoy their site though. That is where I find most of my news and sports headlines. I also like to set up the shows that I like to watch, so that I can see when they are on and what they are about. So, even though I have never won, I find the site very useful. (But I sure would like to win!!)

It is a very useful site, yes. I keep entering for all the Monthly Bonus Prizes because I could always use $3K cash, bigscreen TV, laptop, trip to Hawaii and a $2,500 gas card. You're right, they are a really good resource for the news. I also like to take the daily survey and give my opinion. I haven't gone in and set the TV shows I like to watch yet, I wasn't aware that could be done. Thanks for the tip!

I just received my check for $100 from IWON. I posted a copy of it in my photo section of my profile page. Proof that Iwon is legit after all of these years. They are still paying! I won again and that check will arrive in about 2 weeks. I'll post that check as well.

I won on IWON.COM ON May 1st 2011 on their spin to win. I hit $25 first spin then again and again all 20 spins which adds up to $500 if my limited math ability is right. I had 20 different confirming emails. I felt that something was amiss so I sent them an email explaining just to be fair. Two days later I received an email telling me they had a glitch inadvertently submitted into their system or something to that effect and I was informed that all my 'wins' were invalid but in their spirit of fairness I would be allowed to be rewarded $25. I am a platinum member and have been for a while and have NEVER won anything. Then when I do win, oh I mean when I THOUGHT I won they tell me it was a glitch. So with that being said and the truth, game on. I responded kindly explaining that they could keep their $25 which I considered to be an insult. And by the way, taking a screen shot makes not a valid proof nor a confirming email. Bottom line is they do not have to pay you anything if they do not want to. As they say, game on gamer or is it sucker?
