i have seen people have power to change their start button to their name(instead of the word start their names are show) how?

i m currently not having any problem with my operating system windows xp ,but recently i got shutdown message that close all your work in or else ypu can loose it ,and it display 25 seconds time.,ii don't know foe what purpose or reason it given me that message,
