I am a member of Gather.com. It is like Yahoo groups. But everything you do there you earn points. Which go towards either Gift Certificates or cash/paypal. It is only for U.S residents for the mometn. Because of tax purposes if you decide to receive cash. And if you do decide to receive cash. You cannot get the Gift certificates. You must remain on cash. For the cash you must earn 3,000 points within a calendar period. I had a letter from them im my email. For the month of November, I made the limit!! I can now opt for the cash if I'd like. Of course Iam. Now I have to print out a W9 tax form. Fill it out and fax it back to them. This is so kewl~ I didnt think I was ever gonna make it. I had made 3,000 already. But it wasnt within the calendar period. I had no idea in November I had gotten there. =) Like I said. It is like yahoo groups. There are all kinds of different groups. From freebie groups to recipe, joke, family, writing etc. Plus you earn points for adding images to your page or in a group. Also commenting on others posts earns you points as well!
