Advice on Buying a Home! Need Suggestions! / myLot

Hey all, I need some input. Living in AB Canada, the housing market is going through the roof. A starter home costs no less than $300,000 (at least). If you want to buy a house with an attached garage you're looking at at least $500,000. I would like to buy in the next 3-5 years (hopefully sooner). Does anyone have any input on where I can invest to get the best return so I may start building $ for a down payment?

It's best to ride out the storm. My wife and I actually put our home buying on hold for a couple of years and waited for demand to decline so prices did too.

Thanks. I also agree with you. In the meantime I can take advantage of the time and really put away some $$.

i think u shoulc consult financial planner so u can go buying ur home, hope u put ur income in a year, Dont forget also to give best response, +, - mark to people who are really deserve it!!
