Rice or Pasta?

Rice and pasta kind of seem like the same type of side dish for a meal. I mean, you are either going to have one or the other, but not both. At least, I have never had rice and pasta with the same meal. lol Which do you like better? I know how to do more with pasta so we usually end up eating it. Rice can be my enemy. I either cook it too long or not long enough.

I'd definitely have to say pasta. I find pasta to be more versatile. There are so many more things you can do with it I find, more than when it comes to rice. I like how you can put so many different sauces on pasta. With rice you can put different sauces but I find at least with pasta it doesn't absorb every inch of the sauce you put on it. You don't have to keep on putting more & more because it stays there. And if you put to much sauce on rice, such as soya sauce I find you can really taste it.. Because it gets to salty & then you need to add more rice to make it not be so salty.. At least with pasta the sauce isn't like how it is with rice.. Well until you eat it that is then there is none left. haha.. At least that is what I have found when it comes to cooking both dishes (Not at the same time though.. That would be weird).. I really love alfredo sauce & then mixing the sauce with either chicken or shrimp. Both even taste rather yummy together in my opinion. What kind of sauce do you usually enjoy having on your pasta?! . .

I love both, pasta is one of my favorite dish to cook buth im not really doing it everyday. With rice im always having it everyday. Rice is very easy to do if you've got a rice cooker, in one cup of rice just add 2 same cups of water then just wait for it till its finish cooking, a perfect fluffly rice.
