Are We Alone In The Universe?

Here is a discussion that has been talked about for thousands of years, are we alone in the universe?, The universe is such a massive place with million's of possible galaxies and billion's of star's in each, and the possibility of several planet's in each of those.
In my opinion the odd's say that we are not alone in the universe but could we be?, could we be the first civilization in the entire universe?, could it be up to us to seed other planets and populate the universe?
What are some of your hopes, belief's, and general thoughts on this topic?
I personally believe that we are not alone in the universe and that there is another race out there that are just as advanced if not more advanced then we are, however I do not believe that they have ever contacted us or have found us yet. One reason behind this is because the universe is so large that it may be extreamly hard to find another civilization out there.

no i don't think that we are alone in this univerase. As u have said universe is a huge place with billons of galaxies exach containing about 10^22 stars and there is a possiblity that there can billions and trillions of stars which are having planets and there is also a possibily that there is life on them. i m not perticulatly saying humans but there must life somewhere in this whole universe .
and ya it is our duty to find for such civilizations as we are humans and gifted with great brains so it's our duty to search for such civilizations and and know more n more about them.
And one more thing it is not only us who are looking for such civilizations. Hope u have heard about the ALIENS visiting earch with their saucer shaped like flying jets. UFO - unidentified flying objects are seens quite a lot of time. There are so many cases reported about the seeing of the UFOs and they are visiting ur regularly ... hope we will find them some day

No i don't think we are alone in the universe , there are aliens in the universe and creator of earth out there somewhere in the universe , but this is what i believe strongly yea

I don't really think so.We might not be alone.We might have aliens planning to take over the earth.Seriously,no one knows.
