What do you ask God for in your prayers?

I ask primarily for good health. If I'm healthy, everything will become reality!

Praying for you - Praying for you
I think it essential that people realise that prayer is NOT just ASKING God for something. Prayer has many forms, and I believe the most important of these is praise. Personally, I spent much more time praising God than I do asking Him for anything. He is so great and has done so much for me, my heart flows over with praise. I ask God for my family: that they would all come to know, love and serve Him faithfully. I pray for my friends and for the various ministries I am involved in, and I pray for myself, that He will reveal Himself to me in a fuller way and draw me even closer to Him, that my whole life will be under His control. And I continue to praise Him. I pray He will bless you and reveal Himself to you.

And yet you ask nothing for yourself?

I ask him to forgive me of my sins and help me forgive others. Then I ask for good health for my family, friends and me. It depends on what our needs are at the time.

Are you a priest? "I ask him to forgive me of my sins and help me forgive others." ... Very hard to believe ... People have very little time to pray these days. So, when they do find the time, they ask for health and strength to continue. Thank you for your response.
