Lung Cancer- lack of awareness?

Does anybody else think that other cancers (such as breast cancer) get a lot more attention than lung cancer does? I'm not saying or suggesting that breast cancer (for example) does not deserve the attention that it gets. Obviously it is important to know about, as it kills millions of women (and some men) world wide. However, lung cancer is the number one cancer killer of both men AND women, and I don't think that it gets as much attention. What do you think?

Sometimes, I feel that way. My Grandpa had lung cancer, it was of course hard for him. But I am glad he hung in there as well as he did. Everyones health care should be a high priority no matter the disease, and those that are needing more research will of course more research should go into... Well... It gets alot of attention, but it could get more. Many things can get more, and should. - DNatureofDTrain

You're so right- a lot more things should be getting more attention. I'm sorry about your grandpa.
