I was baptized into Christ on October 1, 1989 and I'm given the gift of
knowledge and understanding the Greek language used to write the New
Testament. The Old Testament written in Hebrew was translated into Greek in about 270 B.C. in Alexandria, Egypt, by 70 Israelite elders upon
the orders of King Ptolemy. The translation is called Septuagint (LXX or Greek Old Testament).
I have already published THE WILL New Testament (Greek to English), a
translation of THE GREEK NEW TESTAMENT, Fourth Revised Edition, with the permission of the German Bible Society who owns the copyright. I have also published GENESIS & EXODUS (Greek to English) from the
Septuagint. I am almost through with Leviticus which will be published soon, God willing.
I translate the Word of God from Greek to English PLAINLY - Greek word translated into its English equivalent. Additional words for grammar purposes are written in italics to show that they are just additional words which are mostly linking verbs. The Word of God is simple and understandable and really sweet.
If there be any doubt arising from the insertions and injections of different words and ideas in the existing versions of the Holy Bible circulating around the world, PLS indicate the book, chapter, and verse, and let us study comparing from the Greek. I am a servant of God and I'd be glad to help people understand the Word of God and be saved from the lake of burning sulfur where the ungodly will be thrown in the last day.

Since you already have the knack for languages, I encourage you to do a formal study of the Hebrew language and a little Aramaic, just enough to understand why the translators of the Septuagint translated the words as such. The Bible is inspired, there's no question to that, but error and inaccuracies in translation may creep in. Hebrew grammar is relatively simple compared to the Greek where you have to understand the intricasies of so many cases. Just imagine Nominative, Genetive, Ablative, Locative, Instrumental, Dative, Accusative, Vocative. Not to mention the tenses, aorist alone is more that just a simple past, punctiliar aorist, iterative aorist, simple aorist. Having gone through this, you will not have any difficulty studying Hebrew enough to read the Hebrew words and the Hebrew lexicon.

I appreciate you good works you are doing.
I would like to ask you two little questions, if you please answer.
1. What were you before becoming Christian?
2.I hear that the word anoint was adopted by English from French in thirteenth century or so. What words were used as its synonym in the English Bible before taking this word from French.

I was baptized in the Philippine Independent Church. I sometimes go there, sometimes to the Roman Catholic Church, and to others where friends invite me. I really didn't know anything about religion. Anoint is mostly what I used because it is the nearest word to what is meant, I don't know what were used before, I didn't care to know what other versions used. Anoint is not always applicable though and that's what we lack in the English language and other languages for that matter. Greek is much better and more specific. Anyway, languages are growing and progressing and I hope we could find a word exactly meaning the Greek word used.

1. I was interested to know, as to what were you before becoming Christian.
2. Would you kindly make some more reseach about anoint? Can we translate it as "massage"? Since you are a professionsal in translation, I think you could know what word instead of anoint was being used before thirteenth century in English.

wow, this is a post that you made 2 months ago. But yea, I would like to say something in here as I found all your post are amazing and in high quality. They should give you extra money for it :p.
