Why do men make promises they don’t keep? I’ve experience this so many times from men in my life and I want to know why. Tell me.
It can be very frustrating. Sometimes, I want to lose faith on them already but then you give them a chance only to be disappointed again. Why?

I am sorry that that happens to you. I think my wife and I keep our promises to each other pretty well, this year was our 7th aniveraasry.

Thank you. I salute you for keeping your promises. Maybe, I was wrong to generalize. Congratulations to the both of you. It is hopeful to know there are people like you. It just bugs me why some can't keep their promises.

Honey men like to hunt that is their nature, so when they think that they have caught the prey (so to speak), the thrill tapers off. The key is to keep the proverbial carrot dangling close to them but never giving it to them too soon. There is a saying that a promise is a comfort to a fool. I am in no way implying that you are a fool but when you want to believe other than what you know the reality is we will accept a promise even though we know it will never be kept.

Yes, the pampering is nice. But my brother would often tell me, "What is sorry when the damage is done?"

yes very frustrating i've been through that also and im about to give up and losing my trust on them. maybe others are just playing or maybe they still on searching but we are thinking if they cant stand on their words then why make promises. Much better show it in action not on promises.

Yes, I agree. It is hard to bring the trust back when you lose it. It is even harder to keep the relationship going. I would always keep in mind : Action speaks louder than words.

Just becouse this is an easy way for they get far from the difficulties.A promise and eveything OK.That how the men thinking, but this is not the real problem the problem is us.How many times we listen promises from men without they keepeng them? And why are we still believe them promises and hope that this time it gonna be different?

I kept asking myself the same question. Wishful thinking? You want to hope for the best I guess. Well, I've been bitter but still want that glimpse of hope. Not the false hope.
I've been thinking......To see is to believe, from now on.
