Okay I have a mini-poodle...there is a picture of him on my page. His name is Midus and he is a year old. He likes to hide his treats and save them for later...lol...He crys when he cant find a place to put one and sometimes puts them on his toys. What kind of dog do you have? What kinds of tricks can he do? How long have you had him? How did you crate train him if he is trained. Please answer the crate training question.. Im trying methods right now.

I have two miniature poodles. Secret is mostly white with a few black patches. Magic is black. They get on well together. They sit for a biscuit but otherwise can play deaf! They love long walks and palying with other dogs. Secret barks at everone that goes past my house. Magic hates being groomed.
I got Secret in November 2004 and Magic in March 2006. I housetrained them by putting newspaper on trhe floor and then taking this outside. They go out in my garden and out for walks in the day. But annoyingly they can mess the floor at night. They don't know any tricks.

Im thinking about getting a playmate for midus... the only tricks that he knows are how to sit and walk.

I have a shizu poodle mixed named brucelee. I have had him about 6 years. I also have a poodle named Jasmine that I've had almost a year. Brucelee has been with me since he was 6 weeks old so I did get to train him but all I had to do when he messed in the house is let him know that I was upset with him and it didn't take long for him to get the idea not to poty in the house. Jasmine on the other hand is a very old dog and she was used to being outside so she really didn't know what to do when I kept her in the house after I got her. But she is usually good about going out side. as far as your dog hidding treats, try leaving a few things out like a bag or a pillow or blanket for him to hide things in. my dogs love to do that.

My dog's name is CoCo. She is half pug half miniature pincher. She was born August 13, 2005. So shes a little over a year old. We got her when she was 6 weeks old. To be honest, we didn't potty train her, my moms dog did! Crazy, huh!

I had the most compassionate, intelligent, loving and beautiful mini poodle named B.B. (Bunny Bear). She was my best friend since 1989 when she was born. Sadly, she passed away on May 28, 2006. She became ill and though I took her to the vet, she didn't make it. I don't believe in putting animals to 'sleep' because I want to give thema all the opportunity to try to recover. She passed away in my home at 7:A.M that day. It broke my heart. I watched her die and I miss her terribly. I didn't get another dog yet because I'm still mourning her. She was my baby.
