yes ADDU! miss very much the pomelos & durian since we don't have those fruits here in U.S. some asian stores here may sell sometime of the pomelo & a frozen durian but it's not that great of what we have there in Davao. the greatest experience also of a buffet garden fresh salad of Eden Nature Park & a whole day swimming at Samal Island Beach are the most awaited vacation to have in the future also. the variety taste of durian eating also in one place in davao where i have gone before which is like a market ground with different varieties of durian you can choose from & there are also some benches or sits that you can stay & enjoy eating all you can for a durian fresh fruit :) smells so good & tastes like an ice cream! oohh this makes my mouth wathering...

you should have gone home here in davao last year..durian was overflowing..before you can only go to a couple a durian markets, last year there where so many..the usual market was located @ torres street, but last year, aside from the torres and magsaysay market, a market also sprouted in the Landco-pdcp open area, and other areas have the small markets also..the price dropped was @ around 25-30/kilo.. way below the usual price..

I grew up in Davao and most of my freinds and happy memories are made in Davao. Yes, it's a very beautiful and bountiful place to live with. Thats why even if I am already back here in the Visayas, I still long to be back in Davao. I miss the fruits definitely.

come back anytime...some of the seasonal fruits are nearly available yearlong..
News: Old Bankerohan Bridge closed for major repairs..the bridge nearly collapsed..
so..traffic is high in the matina-sandawa-bankerohan-quirino area and as well as the sandawa-bolton bridge-trading area. Alternate routes are the gem village-san rafael bridge and the diversion-buhangin highway.

I am a native of Davao City. I just came here to Manila after my graduation from college. But I go back to Davao many times. I love Davao and I feel homesick. I love to eat the fruits abounding in Davao. Perhaps I would be going back permanently to Davao to spend the rest of my life.

I was born in Padada, Davao del Sur. I stayed there until I was four. When we transferred to Digos City, I spent my elementary till college days there. I got my engineering degree in Cebu City. After school, I went to Manila and worked. In 1983, I started to establish my residence in Davao City. I have stayed here from then on. Davao City is a very friendly city. With the able leadership of the city mayor, Rodrigo R. Duterte, it has become a very safe place. The progress and development of the city is taking place by leaps and bounds. It has beautiful tourist spots. Anyone who will come around will surely enjoy their stay here. The water is perfect, among the world's best, ranks second only to New Zealand. Fresh food abound and they are reasonably priced. Especially the fruits, even the locals cannot have enough of them. They're so sweet and availabe fresh everyday of the year. Come to Davao City, enjoy and discover the city, the people and the outlying areas! There will never be a dull moment. We are located in Mindanao Island, Philippines.

i don't want to leave my city, but i hope the mayor and the councilors provide a proper development plan for davao city. this would include real estate, business, sewerage, employment, and other development plans that would be the basis for making davao "The Land of Promise".

I am currently working here in Davao city, I came from surigao province but studied college in Davao, when I graduated I choose to work here. This is a great place, nothing compares. I've been to Cebu and Manila and Baguio, but nothing beat Davao in many aspects. The environment is very ideal to raise a family, no traffic jam and pollution is not that worst compared to other developed cities in the Philippines.
I loved the food in Davao also, fruits and vegetables are cheaper, plus it has clean and fresh water and air. All public places are accessible by one or two rides only. Hope to find more dabawenyos here in myLot.
