Biggest Lies

1. i promise to pay you back on my next paycheck.
2. but officer, i only had two beers.
3. it's delicious, but i can't eat another bite.
4. go ahead and tell me, i promise i won't get mad.
5. The ever-present line on apost card:
having a great time. wish you were here.
6. you dont look a day over 40
7. the reason i;m so late is i ran out of gas
8. i'll do it in aminute
9. i;m a social drinker and i can quit any time i want to.
10. The three biggest lies: i did it. i didn't do it, i can't remember.
each person has a different reason to lie. some people do it just for fun or they tell so called white lies with no serious damage, and perhaps to avoid hurting somene's feelings =. but problem occur when people lie to take advantage of other people's innocence in order to get material gain. this is called commiting a fraud or a scam.
Do you think white lies are really harmless??

You forgot a few: the check is in the mail and your plane will depart on schedule.
I don't know about them being harmless. If you tell them often people will not trust you to tell the truth about things. I can see situations though when it may be better to tell a white lie.
