YAY! The Christmas season always seems to bring with it a lot of treats! People get in the baking spirit and bring treats to your house. Today we received some fudge and it is by far the best fudge I have ever had in my life! I do have to control myself this season though because I have a wedding to attend at the end of the month. Bummer huh!

Here we go with the chocolate again.lol. I must have the wrong friends because no one brings treats to my house. But since you have that wedding and the goodies shouldn't go to waste, you can send them to my house and I will take care of them for you.lol. I got a recipe the other day for microwave fudge that I want to try. Have you ever heard of that?

I think that my brain is swimming in chocolate because I shouldn't be eating it! You know when someone tells you not to sneeze then you have to, same principle! OK I don't know if it is fudge but I've heard of some weird microwave dessert thing involving butter, marshmallows, and cocoa. Does that sound like what your talking about? If so, it is very sticky and runny, not like fudge but VERY good!!

I got it for you. I just don't know if I want to make fudge in the microwave.
MICROWAVE FUDGE
4 c. sugar
1 c. margarine
1 can (14 oz.) evaporated milk
12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate bits
7 oz. marshmallow cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
In 4 quart bowl mix sugar, milk and butter. Cook on high 20 to 22 minutes or until soft ball stage or 234 degrees on candy thermometer. Stir well every 5 minutes during cooking. Stir in chocolate bits and marshmallow cream until well blended. Add vanilla and nuts and mix. Pour into buttered 9 inch square dish for thick pieces or 7 1/2 x 12 inch for thinner pieces. Cool and cut.
