irreconcilable differences; out-laws, er, in-laws' great interference; infidelity; money matters; boredom... and oh, insanity.

I think it's because couples enter marriage thinking it will always be easy and, when they find out the marriage takes work to last, want to leave it.

lack of communication, not spending enough time together, dont love and care about each other, and no more dreams together. I think there are lot more reasons.

Incompatibilty, cheating.I don't think people try as hard these days to love and understand eachother with the quickie divorce option so close at hand, it's saad, because love is compromise.

no one of them wants to give way to an argument.. they always argue.. and i guess, their children suffer. even if they di=ont hav children, their relationship suffers.. ryt? they intend to be dramatically insensitive

in my opinion people get divorce/separated becuase of personal differences and pride. when couples dont agree on things and they fight about it and this builds up over time. and neither one of them want to admit that they did something wrong in order to make the relatinship work. neigher one of them wants to bow down to either one. in order to make a relationship work both couples must be willing to give way to each others wants and needs.

My view based on the experience of several couples is that in a majority of cases, what attracted a man to a woman (or vice versa) when they were courting each other (like interest in music/reading/sports/hobby), might exactly be the reason why they distance from each other years later, often because of the time he/she spends in that area, to the neglect of the spouse.
