Is it okay if your best friend is jealous of you?

I think for most part she is a good friend but then she keep telling me I should break it off with my guy. And My b/f and I just got back together cause we had a silly little fight for nothing. But my best friend thinks I am should be a bet shame of myself for going back to him and he is probably not worth my time. Even though she has never met him. And other times I would say “o dat guy is cute” (like I want him for me, but she would go after him even if he is not her type ...like how he looks or the kinda music he likes..) So I know she has a little jealous thing. But is this a common thing with everyone or it is just my friend. source: my cousin's problem please help here!
