Why did you choose your atavar and myLot name?

Some myLot names are obviously actual names, but some names and atavars must have an interesting reason behind them. I am curious and have wondered why they were chosen. Please share and satisfy my curiosity.
I am cloudwatcher, not because I like watching clouds, though I must admit that when I spend time out of doors, I do admire God's handiwork in the skies as elsewhere, and the skies in Queensland are very blue and beautiful.
I watch the clouds for another reason. When the Lord Jesus Christ returned to heaven after His resurrection, He promised to come back in the clouds to take His own to be with Him. I believe the time for this event could be any day and I look for His coming.

My name here is my own name except I only go by Brenda off the internet. Lee is my middle name. My avatar is me and my dog which has passed away and I greatly miss him. Its my favorite picture of him and I see it as having him forever in my arms.

I chose to use my own name, because thats who I am, (part of my stand up and be counted philosophy).
I chose my atavars because, like the game of chess, a good and meaningful life requires thought.
In chess you have to be aware of whats going on around you otherwise you perish. Life is the same. We were given this life for a reason, I want mine to be used for the good of mankind. Whether that be doing the best for my kids, the environment, or speaking out for what is right and just.
So like the game of chess, life requires thought and planning. We only walk this path once, we should not waste it.

Well now, that is one reason I respect and admire, and it shows a deal of thought. I also respect your goals and determination to do something about them. One person CAN make a difference, and I suspect you might do just that!

I love this discussion and I love your name and the reason behind it. I chose my avatar because it is a picture of me during one of the happiest times of my life. I chose my name because for a long time I didn't know what I was on this earth for until I got saved. That is when I realized i was CALLED TO SERVE HIM. HIM being my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. God bless you, I am glad to know there are some people who are believers on here!

Thank you Called to serve Him! It certainly does add purpose to the life when we know the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour! There is no greater privilege in life than being called to serve Him. Love it!

I commissioned my crow image from a professional
animator for my Brandon Lee web site, and that's why I use it. (It was created from a photo the animator took in Nambia--where Brad and Angelina had their baby.)
My first name is Cindy and I choose 2000 because it was such a pivital year. It was the year I became pregnant, the year I moved in with the man who became my husband and gave me a better life.

I choose mylot name because I'm a fan of greek mythology. I just twisted the name a little so that the sound of the last syllable will ressemble a little to my nickname. And also because I didn't wanted to sound alarming comment from others by using the name of the greek goddess of Love and beauty. Luckily I found a matching avatar to my username. And the rest is history, I fell in love with my avatar. I love yours too, very inspiring. Have a nice day! (^^,)

I chose the user name "Virginians" because in the start, my Mother and I were going to share this same account, and it made sense since we're two females from Virginia, which makes us Virginians. But now it's just me using the account, and you can believe me when I say... I wish I had a different username. lol
My avatar I change a lot depending on my mood, my current avatar reflects the love, and happiness I'm currently feeling in my heart.

I think Virginians is a good name and it makes a lot more sense and is easier to remember than many myLot names. So please you are currently feeling love and happiness and I hope that continues. I wouldn't like to see it replaced with tears! or the grumps! Thanks for sharing.

What a beautiful reason behind your name.
Mind's pretty obvious... my love of the greatest game on ice and my constant interactions with it no matter what the season. If there's a tournament within 4 hours of us, we're there.. lol. If there's a spring league... we've found it. And if there's some tickets to be had to a game.. we're there!

I chose my avatar because it is my cute little puppy Stewie. HE is cute and playful and seems to get mee out of my depression when it hits, also because my Fiancee' would kill mee if I put her pic on here.

thanks for the platitudes as my lady, kids adn dogs all tell mee the same but I am noone special in this world, as I am a faceless member of the hoard. i learned a long time ago to be meek in all my ways so I just like to blend in and that is what is meant by noone special (I am the invisible man) it is not meant as a slam on myself, just being the best mee I can be. I always choose the name Skydancer. After years of using my real name, I wanted a "dance" screen name, and Skydancer was the one that stuck. If that one is taken, I go with "himmeltanzer," the German translation as tribute to my German heritage.

hi cloudwatcher... amen to all you said... nature displays God's majesty... sky hues and beautiful sunsets take my breath away... my username is shiloh222... shiloh is a hebrew word that i came across a decade while in my Bible class... and i really love the meaning... so it has been my habit to use it several times... thought people made mistakes by assuming that i got this from shiloh pitt... i am sorry...LOL... but it has been my username for a very long time... 222 is simply my birthday digits... i never been in Queensland... is it in Australia?

Well I chose Tweety Bird because Felix give him a hard time. I want to keep him with me so that I can protect him. As for the name, it was the first one came to mind when I joined mylot. It doesn't have any special meaning but I think it is a lot better nicer my own.

I chose the avatar of a penguin because I like them.Something in them appeals to me.As for the username,I always wondered what if the flaps of penguins were made to become wings and when I looked at the picture ,it seemed to me that the sky was perfect for wings.So,blue wings(sky).

A logical reasoning. Penguins are certainly among the more unusual of God's creatures. Along with most people, I wonder how they recognise their mates, but I suppose a penguin sees differences we don't.
