Beautiful Landscape - we need to recycle to continue to have beautiful landscapes. imagine what our earth would look like if it was filled with waste sites.

i recycle paper and plastic. we also recycle our christmas tree every year by taking it to a place where they chop them up and use it for mulch. recycling is an excellent idea. One of the main benefits of recycling comes from reducing the amount of new material required. In theory, recycling allows a material to be continually reused for the same purpose, and in many cases this theory holds true, most notably in the recycling of metals and glass. The recycling of aluminium, for example, saves 95% of the CO2 emissions—an environmentally harmful greenhouse gas—compared to refining new metal. Recycling can help cut down on land space used for waste, plus it is very healthy for our planet. Did you know for example, 1000 kg of paper from recycled material conserves about 7,000 of water, 17-31 trees and 4,000 kwh of electricity? One thing i wish i could recycle but in my area no one takes them, are magazines. i probably get 200 magazines or flyer in the mail every year. So do you reduce, reuse, recycle?

our recycle area at the transfer station where we have to take our garbage, only accepts plastic, newspaper and glass. we pay a deposit in our state for aluminum cans, so i take them in every now and then for some extra cash.
