Why is sachin not performing the way he used to?

Ponting comes no where near sachin in taents or skills, but is getting more publicity than sachin.And the consistency with which sachin used to perform is not to be seen thses days.When i was a kid sachin was known as the person who won matches for india, but now a days the main criticism against him is that he doesnt win matches for india.What do you think is the reason and anyway for sachin to be what he used to.I wish he finds the old glory.And leads india fom the front.Is he under pressure these days?
