Well as most people put it there is no day without light. Night exists and darkness exists when there is no light, so night and darkness will always be here.

only suggestion, you can put it more accurately if you use day and night instead of light and nigh.

I am cofused what would be there if there would be no light and night. Day is because we have light and night is beacuse of absence of light. I am not getting what there would be. You please resolve my confusion :). I guess there would be no idea of day and night in the absence of those two.
