Grandmother has cancer

Last month the doctors made the diagnosis that my grandmother has lung cancer in the last stage. They said that they give her a year at most if she does chemo therapy (what she is doing). I really don't know how I can deal with this situation. It is really strange and it hurts a lot to look at a person and to know that this person is going to die soon. I don't know how to behave towards her because I just can't stand that thought..
