Either way would be bad. In the past, I tried a relationship with someone I thought I loved. I guess liked is a better word. I was attracted to him. He was to me. I wanted it to be more serious. He did not. I gave him time. He did not share my feelings. I finally gave up. Other guys have liked me in the same way, as I did that guy, but I had no feelings for them. That made me feel awkward. I hated hurting them. I would rather be the one hurt that do the hurting. So I guess I would rather be the one in love with a person who didn't love me. SOrry, if I rabbled.
